Description

Basement flood restoration stalls when technicians must stop vacuuming to carry and dump heavy liquid buckets. The Mastercraft P42010SMP 20 Gallon Pump-Out wet vacuum evacuates water without stopping through an internal submersible sump pump. It pulls 105 CFM on 120 Volt circuits. Coarse drywall chunks or gravel will clog the internal sump pump impeller.

The 20-gallon recovery tank uses rotomolded high-density polyethylene that resists chemical washdown solutions and physical impacts. A 1.5 horsepower two-stage vacuum bypass motor sits inside a sound-insulated powerhead, separated from a built-in 1/3 horsepower thermoplastic submersible pump. Liquid passes through a mesh filter basket before reaching the pump intake. Heavy-duty zinc-plated steel latches pull the powerhead tight against an internal closed-cell neoprene tank gasket, preventing vacuum leaks during high-lift pumping.

Pump Out Vacuum Hardware

Simultaneous suction and discharge pumping eliminates downtime spent carrying and dumping heavy water containers. Technicians connect standard 3/4-inch garden hoses to discharge water up to 25 feet vertical.

  • 1.5 horsepower two-stage vacuum motor generates 105 CFM and 95 inches of water lift.
  • 1/3 horsepower internal submersible pump discharges up to 30 gallons per minute.
  • 20-gallon rotomolded polyethylene recovery tank resists cracking and chemical corrosion.
  • Internal mesh strainer basket catches large debris to protect the discharge pump impeller.
  • Automatic liquid shutoff float valve prevents tank overfill if pump discharge stops.
  • 50-foot commercial power cable provides broad reach across flooded commercial basements.
  • Heavy-duty rear transport wheels and front casters roll across wet floors with stability.

Dyno Performance Bench Telemetry

Under simultaneous vacuum and pump-out operation, total current draw registers 14.2 Amps on a dedicated 120 Volt 15 Amp circuit. The vacuum bypass motor pulls 94 inches of static water lift while the sump pump moves 28 GPM against a 10-foot head. Motor powerhead temperatures climb by 36°F after 90 minutes of continuous flood evacuation, leveling off at 139°F. Sound meter instrumentation records 74 dBA at 1 meter. Discharge pressure maintains 12 PSI through 50 feet of garden hose.

Field Handling Maintenance Boundaries

Weighing 58 pounds empty, this wet vacuum requires two workers to lift into service trucks or up staircases. Do not operate this machine as a dry vacuum without removing the sump pump and installing a dry filter. Running the internal submersible pump dry will burn out the mechanical shaft seal within three minutes.

  • Flush the recovery tank and pump intake screen with clean water after each job.
  • Inspect the submersible pump discharge check valve for trapped grit every 40 hours.
  • Check the powerhead neoprene gasket for tears or compression set every month.

Commercial Warranty Delivery Manifest

Mastercraft backs this pump-out wet vacuum with a 1-Year commercial warranty on the vacuum motor, sump pump, and rotomolded tank. The kit includes the 20-gallon vacuum, an internal 1/3 hp pump, a 10-foot crush-proof hose, two steel wands, a squeegee tool, and a discharge hose adapter.
