Description
Tangled pet hair and heavy commercial power cords slow down residential turnover cleaning in rental properties. The Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet Elite cordless upright vacuum eliminates cord hassle through an interchangeable 20-volt battery system and an anti-microbial brush roll. It pulls 45 CFM airflow and 35 inches of water lift. Running continuous high mode drains the battery within 20 minutes.
The lightweight chassis incorporates high-tensile ABS plastics to keep total machine weight under 9 pounds for quick stair carrying. Power stems from a compact 20-volt brushless DC motor riding on dual sealed ball bearings. A high-efficiency toothed belt drives an anti-microbial brush roller fitted with specialized pet hair bristles. Dual cyclone chambers separate coarse hair from fine dirt before air passes across the secondary washable filter.
Hardware Matrix Operational Specs
At under 9 pounds, this cordless upright lets cleaners sweep multi-story units without cord tripping hazards. The removable brush roll pops out without tools to clear wound hair in seconds.
- 20-volt lithium-ion battery system delivers cordless mobility across multi-room rental properties.
- Brushless DC drive motor maximizes battery runtime while eliminating carbon brush wear.
- Anti-microbial brush roller resists bacterial odor and prevents wrapped pet hair buildup.
- Dual-cyclonic filtration assembly separates fine dust from coarse debris to prevent filter clogging.
- 11-inch compact cleaning head navigates between tight residential furniture groupings.
- Ultra-lightweight 9-pound chassis reduces physical worker strain during staircase sweeps.
- Large capacity dirt cup unlatches with one hand for quick dumping into trash bins.
Dyno Thermal Bench Benchmarks
A battery discharge bench test records an 11.5 Amp continuous draw on the 20-volt bus in high-power carpet mode. The brushless motor fan spins at 26200 RPM while brush roll speed stabilizes at 3100 RPM under load. Motor casing temperatures rise 31 degrees Fahrenheit over ambient room baseline during a complete discharge run. Battery pack cell temperature reaches 118 degrees Fahrenheit at cut-off point. Sound meters register 67 dBA in quiet mode and 71 dBA on boost power. Battery management circuits trigger cutoff if cell temperature exceeds 135 degrees Fahrenheit.
Field Maintenance Trade Offs
The 20-minute runtime on high mode makes this vacuum impractical for large commercial facilities without carrying multiple charged spare battery packs. Never use this machine for standing puddle extraction or construction drywall dust because fine gypsum ruins the cyclone cones and shorts the motor. The small 11-inch head requires many passes in large rooms.
- Allow hot 20-volt battery packs to cool before placing them into the charger dock.
- Snip away wrapped hair and fiber buildup from the brush roller after every turnover clean.
- Rinse the primary foam filter with cold water every 30 days and air-dry until bone dry.
