Ulmus x ‘Morton Glossy’ Triumph™ Elm is a hybrid elm tree developed for its striking combination of aesthetic appeal and resilience. Renowned for its glossy, dark green leaves that create a dense, pyramidal canopy, Triumph™ Elm offers excellent shade and ornamental value in urban and suburban landscapes. This cultivar is a product of careful breeding aimed at enhancing resistance to Dutch elm disease and elm leaf beetle, challenges that have historically devastated elm populations. The tree’s rapid growth habit and adaptability to diverse soil types make it a reliable choice for street plantings, parks, and large gardens. Introduced by Morton Arboretum, Triumph™ Elm has become a favored elm variety due to its vigorous health and handsome form, embodying a modern solution to classic elm vulnerabilities.
