Description
Rosa x Flower Carpet ‘Amber’® Rose is a vigorous, low-maintenance groundcover rose known for its prolific blooming habit and disease resistance. Developed in Germany in the 1990s as part of the Flower Carpet series, this rose produces abundant clusters of warm amber-orange flowers throughout the growing season, providing vibrant color from late spring to frost. Its compact, spreading growth habit, reaching about 18 to 24 inches tall with a similar spread, makes it ideal for mass plantings, borders, or as a colorful landscape groundcover. The glossy, dark green foliage enhances its ornamental appeal and contributes to its resilience against common rose diseases such as black spot and powdery mildew. Recognized for combining the beauty of traditional roses with extended bloom periods and ease of care, Flower Carpet roses have earned acclaim among gardeners and landscape professionals alike for their reliable performance and striking floral displays.
