Description
Pericallis x Senetti® ‘Mixture’ Cineraria is a vibrant and versatile flowering plant known for its striking daisy-like blooms that come in a rich palette of colors including shades of blue, purple, pink, and white. A hybrid derived from the genus Pericallis, this cultivar combines the best traits of its parents to offer long-lasting, prolific flowering and excellent garden performance, particularly in cooler seasons. Originating from the Canary Islands, the Pericallis genus was historically prized for its ornamental value, and the Senetti® series has been further developed to enhance disease resistance and bloom density, making it a popular choice for both container gardening and landscape borders. Its unique ability to thrive in partial shade and cooler temperatures extends the flowering season well beyond many similar annuals, providing gardeners with vibrant color from late fall through early spring. Additionally, ‘Mixture’ Cineraria is appreciated for its compact, bushy habit and attractive foliage, which accentuates the vivid blossoms. This cultivar’s superior qualities have earned it recognition among horticultural professionals for its exceptional ornamental appeal and adaptability in diverse garden settings.
