Description
Nephrolepis obliterata ‘Kimberley Queen’, commonly known as the Australian Sword Fern, is a striking evergreen fern native to Australia that has become a popular choice for both indoor and outdoor landscaping due to its robust, upright growth habit and glossy, sword-shaped fronds. Unlike many ferns that prefer shady, moist environments, the Kimberley Queen is notably more drought-tolerant and adaptable to bright indirect light, making it well-suited for a range of garden settings and container plantings. Its architectural form and resilience make it a standout in shaded borders, tropical-themed gardens, or as a dramatic houseplant. This cultivar is appreciated for its low maintenance requirements and ability to withstand indoor conditions better than many other fern species. The Kimberley Queen’s unique combination of bold foliage and durability has earned it recognition among gardeners and horticulturists looking for fern varieties that combine beauty with practicality.
