Description
Lantana camara ‘Landmark Citrus’ is a vibrant, compact shrub renowned for its continuous, prolific blooms that showcase a stunning blend of citrus-colored flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and apricot. This cultivar is prized for its heat and drought tolerance, making it an excellent choice for warm climates and low-water landscapes. Native to Central and South America, Lantana camara has a rich history as both an ornamental plant and a naturalized species around the world. ‘Landmark Citrus’ distinguishes itself with a more controlled growth habit compared to traditional lantanas, providing a neat, mounded form ideal for borders, containers, and mass planting. Its aromatic foliage also helps repel certain pests, adding to its landscape utility. This variety is widely recommended by horticultural sources such as Proven Winners and NC State Extension for its ease of care, long flowering season, and versatility in garden design.
