Description
Helleborus x glandorfensis HGC Ice N’ Roses ® ‘COSEH 4500′ White Lenten Rose is a distinctive hybrid hellebore renowned for its elegant white blooms that brighten late winter to early spring gardens when few other perennials are in flower. This variety exhibits robust, evergreen foliage and large, upward-facing flowers that often feature a subtle greenish tint at the center, adding depth and visual interest. Originating from the Glandorf hybrids developed in the Netherlands, the Ice N’ Roses series was bred to combine enhanced flower size, extended bloom time, and improved disease resistance compared to traditional Lenten roses. As a shade-tolerant and deer-resistant perennial, it thrives in rich, well-drained soils, making it a favored choice for woodland gardens and shaded borders. The HGC Ice N’ Roses line has been recognized by horticultural societies for its superior garden performance and ornamental value.
