Description
Deutzia x Color Choice ‘Yuki Snowflake’® is a striking deciduous shrub celebrated for its profuse display of pure white, star-shaped flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer, creating a snowflake-like effect—hence its name. This hybrid deutzia is prized for its compact, upright growth habit and reliable flowering, making it an excellent choice for borders, foundation plantings, or mixed perennial gardens. The plant’s dark green foliage provides a lush backdrop, turning a subtle bronze in fall, adding seasonal interest beyond its floral show. ‘Yuki Snowflake’® benefits from excellent disease resistance and adaptability to a range of soil types and light conditions, thriving best in full sun to partial shade. Deutzias, native to Asia and Central America, have a long history of garden cultivation dating back to the 19th century, valued for their elegant blooms and easy maintenance.
