Description
Spiraea x Double Play® ‘SMNSJSA’ Dolly™ Spirea is a striking deciduous shrub prized for its vibrant, long-lasting color and compact growth habit. This cultivar, part of the innovative Double Play® series developed by Proven Winners, stands out for its unique ability to deliver two distinct seasons of interest: its brilliant, fiery red foliage emerges in spring and intensifies through summer, followed by a profusion of soft pink flower clusters that bloom in late spring to early summer. Dolly™ Spirea’s rounded, dense form typically reaches a manageable height and width, making it an excellent choice for borders, foundation plantings, and mass landscapes. Its exceptional disease resistance and drought tolerance contribute to its popularity among gardeners seeking low-maintenance yet visually dynamic shrubs. The Double Play® series, including Dolly™, has been recognized for combining ornamental beauty with durability and reliability in varied garden settings.
