Description
Chrysanthemum x hybrida ‘Orange’ Hardy Garden Mum is a vibrant fall-blooming perennial known for its bright orange, daisy-like flowers that bring lasting color to gardens and landscapes. Originating from hybrid crosses of Asian and European chrysanthemums, this cultivar combines the hardiness and disease resistance of garden mums with vivid autumnal hues, making it a popular choice for late-season displays. Hardy Garden Mums are valued for their ability to thrive in cooler climates, providing reliable blooms when many other perennials have finished flowering. They perform best in full sun with well-drained soil and are often used in borders, containers, and mass plantings. This cultivar’s sturdy stems and dense foliage also make it an excellent cut flower. Recognized for its ornamental appeal and adaptability, Chrysanthemum x hybrida remains a staple in fall gardening and seasonal landscape design.
