Description
Buddleja x ‘Boscranz’ CranRazz™ Butterfly Bush is a vibrant and compact deciduous shrub renowned for its striking, deep raspberry-red flower panicles that attract butterflies and hummingbirds, making it a favorite among pollinator-friendly gardeners. Originating from hybridization within the Buddleja genus, this cultivar combines the hardiness and fast growth typical of butterfly bushes with exceptional color intensity and a more manageable size, reaching approximately 3 to 5 feet in height and width. Its narrow, lance-shaped gray-green leaves provide a subtle contrast to the vivid blooms, which appear from mid to late summer through fall, offering prolonged ornamental interest. CranRazz™ is valued not only for its ornamental appeal but also for its drought tolerance and adaptability to various soil types, making it suitable for landscapes seeking low-maintenance, wildlife-attracting plants. Its introduction has been well-received in garden circles for enhancing butterfly garden diversity with a splash of bold color.
