Description
Impatiens x hybrida SunPatiens® ‘SAKIMP027’ Compact White New Guinea Impatiens is a robust and versatile flowering plant celebrated for its vibrant, pure white blooms and exceptional tolerance to sun and heat, distinguishing it from traditional shade-loving impatiens. Originating from hybridization efforts to combine the shade tolerance of Impatiens walleriana with the sun and heat resilience of New Guinea impatiens (Impatiens hawkeri), SunPatiens® revolutionized warm-season color by thriving in full sun while maintaining prolific, long-lasting flowering. The compact growth habit of the ‘SAKIMP027′ variety makes it ideal for containers, borders, and mass plantings, providing continuous summer color with minimal maintenance. This variety’s vigorous growth and resistance to Downy Mildew, a common impatiens disease, have earned it recognition among gardeners seeking reliable, high-performance annuals, contributing to the SunPatiens® series’ reputation as a game-changer in ornamental horticulture.
