Description

Dewater construction excavations, utility trenches, and elevator sumps automatically without float hang-ups. The Tsurumi HS3Z.75SL Automatic Electric Submersible pump clears debris-laden water across harsh jobsites. A 1.0-horsepower electric motor turns an abrasive-resistant urethane rubber impeller. The 0.28-inch solids clearance stops passage of large crushed stone and demolition gravel.

Rugged aluminum alloy forms the motor frame, protected by a heavy synthetic rubber pump volute. The integrated vertical float switch eliminates tether snags inside narrow drainage basins. Solid ceramic plungers and silicon carbide mechanical seals run inside an oil lifter chamber to survive dry running. The shaft-mounted agitator liquefies settled mud around the suction screen. Top-discharge geometry cools the stator housing.

Automatic Sump Hardware Specs

Trenching crews clear groundwater without manual switch monitoring. The integrated vertical float rod triggers motor start when water levels rise above the base.

  • Continuous-duty 1.0-horsepower motor operates on standard single-phase 115-volt circuits
  • Semi-vortex urethane impeller delivers 84 GPM maximum water discharge volume
  • Integrated vertical float mechanism starts and stops pumping without tether snags
  • Shaft-mounted agitator suspends heavy mud sediments to prevent intake clogging
  • Silicon carbide mechanical faces resist abrasive wear from suspended silica sand
  • Heavy 32-foot rubber power cord includes strain relief to prevent electrical shorts
  • Standard 3-inch discharge neck connects straight to commercial lay-flat hose lines

Motor Stress Bench Telemetry

Dynamometer bench testing demonstrates the motor draws 9.6 Amps across 115-volt power under a 25-foot dynamic discharge head. Pump output stabilizes at 60 GPM through 50 feet of 3-inch hose. Motor stator temperature reaches 146°F during extended low-water operation. Acoustic sensors record 58 dBA submerged and 65 dBA in open air.

Jobsite Operation Mechanical Realities

You lower this pump down utility trenches using a steel cable connected to the handle. The slim vertical float rod permits operation inside cramped 10-inch basins. Do not pick up or move this machine by the rubber power cable. Yanking the electrical cord pulls wires from internal terminals and causes electrical shocks.

  • Inspect the float switch guide rod for dried mud cakes before lowering into sumps
  • Check seal chamber lubricating oil clarity through the inspection port once a year
  • Rinse the pump housing with fresh water after pumping abrasive concrete slurry

Commercial Warranty Manifest Terms

Tsurumi covers this automatic trash pump with a 2-Year limited commercial warranty. The factory crate contains the submersible pump, vertical float switch, 32-foot power cable, 3-inch hose discharge coupling, and comprehensive operational guide.
