Description
Potentilla fruticosa ‘Hachbianca’, commonly known as Bella Bianca® Shrubby Cinquefoil, is a compact, deciduous shrub prized for its abundant, pure white flowers that bloom profusely from late spring through early fall. This cultivar is celebrated for its tidy, mounding habit, typically reaching 2 to 3 feet in height and width, making it an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, and low hedges. The finely textured, dark green foliage adds ornamental appeal throughout the growing season and turns attractive shades of yellow and orange in the fall. Originating from the Potentilla genus, which includes many rugged and adaptable species native to temperate regions across the Northern Hemisphere, ‘Bella Bianca’ stands out for its superior disease resistance and drought tolerance, thriving in a range of soil types and full sun conditions. This cultivar has been recognized by horticultural societies for its reliable performance and ornamental value, making it a favored selection among landscapers and gardeners seeking low-maintenance, long-blooming shrubs.
