Description
Ipomoea batatas ‘FloraMia Limon Wedge’ is a vibrant ornamental sweet potato vine prized for its bright chartreuse, wedge-shaped leaves that provide a striking contrast in mixed containers and garden beds. Originating from the tropical regions of Central and South America, the sweet potato vine has long been cultivated both for its edible tubers and its ornamental foliage. ‘Limon Wedge’ is a compact, fast-growing cultivar that thrives in full sun to partial shade and is appreciated for its heat and drought tolerance, making it an excellent choice for summer displays and hanging baskets. Its unique leaf shape and vivid color add texture and brightness to landscapes, while its trailing habit makes it ideal for cascading over edges. The FloraMia series, to which this cultivar belongs, has been developed to combine ornamental appeal with robust garden performance, earning it recognition among landscapers and gardeners for its consistent vigor and versatility in design.
