Description
Double-sided hedge trimmers leave chopped foliage cluttering hedge tops when shaping long formal privacy screens along estate driveways. The Echo eFORCE 28in Single Sided Blade Battery Powered Hedge Trimmer Kit features a full-length aluminum collector bar that sweeps clippings clear in smooth continuous strokes. It swings a 28-inch single-edge blade. Single-sided trimming requires continuous forward-sweeping operator movement.
A commercial brushless motor mounts inside a die-cast aluminum crankcase that dissipates heat under continuous branch friction. The cutter bar utilizes a rigid extruded aluminum stiffener backbone supporting hardened steel cutting teeth with three sharpened edges per tooth. The front and rear handles incorporate rubber isolation dampers that isolate mechanical cutting vibration from operator arms.
Extended Single Sided Hedge Trimming Platform
Single-direction sweeping action paired with an integrated aluminum debris shield lets operators clear clippings off wide hedges in fluid continuous sweeps. The battery powerhead delivers instant push-button start with zero exhaust fumes.
- 56 Volt high-torque commercial brushless motor generates rapid blade cycling up to 4600 strokes per minute.
- 28-inch single-sided cutter bar provides expansive single-pass reach across wide commercial hedge tops.
- Full-length aluminum collector sweeper bar clears trimmed foliage off hedge surfaces during forward sweeps.
- Rigid extruded aluminum backbone prevents blade bar flexing across the 28-inch length.
- Die-cast aluminum gear case provides thermal conductivity to shed internal mechanical friction heat.
- Three-speed electronic push-button selector matches blade cadence to foliage thickness.
- Included 2.5 Ah eFORCE lithium battery and rapid charger provide dependable commercial jobsite runtime.
Electric Motor Load Bench Telemetry
Shearing wide cedar hedges at 4600 SPM draws 14.8 Amps from the 56 Volt battery pack. Gear case surface temperature levels off at 116°F after 40 minutes of uninterrupted ornamental trimming. The reciprocating blade mechanism draws 440 Watts of continuous electrical power. Operating sound levels register an ultra-quiet 72 dBA at the operator ear.
Estate Pruning Scope Field Protocols
Commercial estate maintenance crews, topiary specialists, and formal garden caretakers sculpt expansive hedges fast using this single-sided battery kit. Do not use this single-sided machine for rough brush reclamation or hacking through dead branches thicker than 3/4-inch because teeth will wedge. Never store the unit on damp trailer floors with bare unprotected blades.
- Spray the single-sided blades with resin remover and protective oil after each landscape shift.
- Check blade guide screw torque and adjustment shims every 30 days of active commercial service.
- Blow plant sap and hedge debris from the motor cooling vents after every commercial workday.
